A) Food Consumed

Breakfast – one bowl of cinnamon Life cereal with milk

Lunch – green apple, salami sandwich, bag of salt and vinegar chips, four caramel delight cookies, and 8 ounce bottle of water

Dinner – one slice pepperoni pizza

Breakfast – one chocolate granola bar and one peach with milk

Lunch – green apple, PB&J sandwich, bag of salt and vinegar chips, four chocolate cookies, and 8 ounce bottle of water

Dinner – bean and cheese burrito, small salad and water

Breakfast- two smore’s flavored pop tarts with a glass of milk

lunch- green apple, salami sandwich, bag of Doritos “cool ranch” chips, four caramel delight cookies, and a 8 ounce bottle of water

Dinner- 1 fish taco with cheese and lettuce with a large glass of milk

Breakfast- bowl of Honey bunches of oats cereal with milk

lunch- salami and hummus sandwich, water bottle, maui onion chips, and a cup of mandarin oranges

dinner- large grilled chicken salad with 2 glasses of black tea

B) Documenting ourselves, our routines, and our behaviors

Here is a picture of the beef stroganoff I had on sunday. It might look gross, but trust me, its delicious. I went to my nana’s house for dinner and I really enjoyed it because since I made the rio soccer team, I haven’t gotten to see her in awhile. Its healthy and food is always better when you eat it with people you love and miss.

 

C) Reflection

As you can see from what I’ve been eating the past week, I like to eat unhealthy. Pretty much all of my dinners have been from Taco Bell or McDonald’s. Since I’m so busy with soccer after school, I don’t have time to eat a real meal so I have to get a quick drive thru meal. But that’s ok because I burn all those calories off by playing soccer.

I do eat healthy food but definitely not as much as the junk food I eat on a daily basis. I need to start eating more healthy food but with such a tight schedule, I don’t have time. But, as long as I exercise regularly, I think I’ll be fine.

Food should be delicious. It should also be good for you.

In this article, the author says food should be delicious as well as healthy. In some cases, this is true. In others, it is not. Food can be one and not the other, like pizza. Delicious but very unhealthy. Or brussel sprouts, very healthy but tastes horrible to  most people. Rarely it is both. Everyone has their own opinion. Personally, I like many types of foods and they can be healthy or not healthy at all. I agree with the author but the question is, how can we make food both?
